Transitioning can be a challenging time. My name is Lorrie Merck, and I would like to help!
I can assist with many of the more di cult and demanding tasks involved, by aiding with basic organizational issues as well as helping you create a warm and inviting new home. Being a professional member of American Society of Interior Designers (A.S.I.D.), I am skilled and trained in every genre of design and home management. With over thirty years’ experience, I can capably guide you in making decisions which may temporarily feel overwhelming.

- ORGANIZE
We begin with an in-home consultation regarding scope of the project. This is where we look at your existing home with an eye to deciding which pieces to keep, which to send for re-sale, or donate. Together we can formulate a plan as how to proceed. We create a game plan and a timeline based on your calendar and needs. - IMPLIMENT
Decisions regarding belongings to keep and those to donate can be particularly diffcult. I am adept at assisting in this regard and can help you separate your things into appropriate categories. Having long term connections to non-profits, who appreciate household donations, as well as my relationship with various re-sale shops allows me to easily ascertain how to make these decisions. Implementation of removal of donatable items is also part of my service. I can facilitate the division of your furnishings into items for storage, donation, re-sale, and those going to your new home. The moving companies that I work with have wonderful reputations as well as connections to storage facilities. I have a tried-and-true system of organizing your collections safely while taking care of all the work involved with your transition. - CREATE
Creating a new home is an important part of my service. I am familiar with the majority of our local retirement communities and can assist in designing the perfect space for you. We can work together to create your new ideal home designed to your speci c taste and needs. Collaboration is my specialty! Because I am familiar with the requirements most facilities have implemented, I can simplify the process.
