I am a licensed acupuncturist integrating various energy healing modalities into my work to maximize the effectiveness of each session. These methods help restore the body’s innate ability to heal itself from issues ranging from seasonal and food allergies, asthma, headaches and migraines, hormonal issues, chronic fatigue, back pain, body pain to virtually any imbalance or symptom. My work is effective for people of all ages.
I pursued my career in acupuncture as a result of my own ill health when I was in my 30’s and was told that there was nothing wrong with me according to all the tests and that “everyone feels that way, I was just getting old”. Not satisfied with this diagnosis, I kept searching and I found a technique that addressed the numerous food and environmental allergies that I didn’t even know I had. These sensitivities were compromising my immune system and causing my life force energy to be depleted and out of balance. Once I found a way to restore my own health I felt a strong desire to help others who had similar issues and also weren’t finding any answers. This motivated me to go back to school to earn a Master’s Degree in Traditional Chinese Medicine to become an acupuncturist.
In my own pursuit of optimal health I have experienced many modalities that have contributed to my wellness. I have mastered several of these and integrate them in my work on a case by case basis. Every session is specifically tailored to the individual’s needs in order to maximize the benefits. I am constantly learning new modalities to enhance the efficacy of my work. My goal and passion is to help people restore their health, wellness and energy on the mind, body and spirit levels. My work is unique and very effective due to the depth of healing and my persistence to help people.
I like helping people especially the ones who haven’t found any resolution to their issues elsewhere. I have learned in my studies and in my experience many ways to get to the root cause of the issue and eliminate the blocked healing that has prevented success with other modalities. I love tapping into the innate wisdom of the body using muscle response testing and intuition to help people. I also love that my work recognizes that emotions are an important component in dis-ease and I have many ways to resolve those blocks.
My work is based on basic acupuncture theory which states that if one’s energy meridians are free-flowing and balanced, it will result in optimal health. Unfortunately, the many stresses that we face in this day and age may cause energy blockage or imbalance resulting in symptoms. The various methods that I use help to resolve these issues and restore balance and health. My work is unlike other acupuncturists so much so in fact that many of my clients retain their other acupuncturists while also seeing me. My work supports the work of many other practitioners in one’s search for health and well being. I plan to continue learning all that I can to add to my toolbox and ability to help people.
